Aerogeophysical Survey

In order to conduct aero geophysical surveys, SPC GEOKEN LLP company uses modern technologies, hardware, and software that meet industry standards at the international level.

Main Tasks

  • Aeromagnetic and magneto-gradiometric survey;
  • Aerogamma spectrometry;
  • Airborne gravimetric survey;
  • Integrated aerogeophysical survey;
  • Integrated data processing and interpretation;
  • Aeroelectric prospecting work with the EQUATOR complex;
  • Hydrogeological studies with the EQUATOR complex.

The EQUATOR complex is designed to perform airborne geophysical surveys while solving a wide range of geological prospecting and mapping tasks and includes:

  • aerial electrical prospecting system that implements the method of transient processes (additionally, data can be presented in frequency form)
  • aeromagnetic system
  • aerogamma spectrometer (NaI(Tl) 48 l, total energy resolution along the line 0.662 MeV 8%)
  • data collection and high-precision navigation system
  • a set of programs for automatic processing of airborne geophysical information

The following airborne vehicles are used in conducting are geophysical surveys:

  • Cessna 208B Grand Caravan;
  • An-2;
  • L-410;
  • PC-6 Pilatus
  • Eurocopter AS350B3 helicopter;
  • and others.

Advantages

SPC GEOKEN has more than 50 years of experience in performing airborne geophysical work. The company uses innovative technologies, modern equipment and software, works both independently and in partnership with leading developers of advanced technologies and geophysical equipment for airborne geophysical research – NTP Gravimetric Technologies CJSC, Geotechnologies LLC. To carry out complex airborne geophysical research, GEOKEN was the first in Kazakhstan and throughout the post-Soviet space to equip such aircraft as the Cessna-208B aircraft and the Eurocopter AS350 B3 helicopter. The company is a member of the International Aerogeophysical Safety Association (IAGSA).
